Janet Abaroa, 25, was stabbed to death in her home on Ferrand Drive in Durham on April 26, 2005. Her husband, Raven Abaroa, was arrested Feb. 1, 2010, in the crime and is awaiting retrial after in the case after a jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict in his first trial.
